Harmful Acts !!!
Don’t put your mobile closer to your ears until the recipient answers, because directly after dialing, the mobile phone would use it’s maximum signaling power, which is: 2watts = 33dbi. Please Be Careful. Please use left ear while using cell (mobile), because if you use the right one it may affect brain directly. This is a true fact from Apollo medical team.
Do not drink APPY FIZZ . It contains cancer causing agent.
Don’t eat mentos before or after drinking coke or pepsi bcoz the person will die as it creates cyanide.
Please forward to all your well wishers..!

Say a BIG NO to self medication – contd…
As a continuation of the previous post on self-medication, this post illustrates yet another real-life incident. The word SAD cannot just describe the severity of this incident.
Prof. Bhattacharya of IIT – Bombay, a person in 30’s was hale and healthy like most of us till that incident happened. Now, he is in a state of COMA for the past one year. The reason behind his current state is a medicine/tablet called BRUFEN. This is a popular pain-killer, taken widely. The prof. had had a finger pain and wanted to take this (pain) killer. His doctor had advised him not to take it for a minor finger pain. But, he being hasty took BRUFEN, wanting immediate relief from pain. The medicine had some violent reactions within his body and resulted in pushing him to a state of COMA.
To view his profile check out http://www.hss.iitb.ac.in/tanmay/
I am not inferring that BRUFEN will always lead to such a state. What I mean is that, it is not at all advisable to take any medicine without the Doctor’s consent. If you observe my example and this prof’s case, a common point is that both of us wanted immediate relief. We should understand that our body needs some time to heal and we are not aware of the intensity of various tablets.
The Doctors also warn that too much of Parasitamol would result in LIVER damage.
Let us all pray to almighty that the prof. gets cured and the experiences of the prof and me should serve as a lesson to every one who takes medicines on their own.

Silent Killers!
This post is about 2 killers who(which) cause damage to our body. The first one, ‘MOBILES’ and the second one being ‘I-POD’. It is very difficult to spot out youngsters without a mobile and an i-pod.
Research has proven that continous use of Mobiles would cause damage to the brain. The radiations are so harmful that, the mobile should not be kept close to our head, even while sleeping. Most of us are addicted towards mobiles. It is high time that all of us realize these facts and use them whenever needed.
Coming to i-pods, most of us love hearing to songs. But, when it becomes an addict, we have to pause and think. Some of them even consider this as a prestige issue or a kind of fashion. Research says that prolonged usage of i-pods would result in damaging the ears.
Our body is a gift from god. We should learn to use all these stuff in a controlled way. The underlying point behind all these is the adage, “Too much of anything is good for nothing”. Think…

Say a BIG NO to self-medication!
Most of us take tablets on our own for any health problem, even after knowing its bad effects. I wish to share my own experience on self-medication.
Few months ago, I was in my old school for organizing our inter-school culturals “MAHAMELA”. At that time, I was having severe cold and throat pain. I had to conduct some competitions and it was very difficult as my throat was paining terribly. I never take tablets on my own. On that day, I didnt have time to meet the doctor and decided that to take tablets on my own. I knew some tablets which my doc used to prescribe whenever I had cold and throat pain. I sent my friend to buy those tablets and took it immediately. In2 minutes, I felt very dizzy and in 10 mins, I was blacked out! I cudnt see anything around with my eyes wide open!!! believe me! I was rushed to the hospital..,.admitted, I learnt from the doctor that the 2 tablets which I took had some conflicting nature and should not be taken together… It took a week for me to recover completely… Take me as an example and never ever take tablets on your own…
It is always better to consult a doctor and take medicines that he prescribes… Meet u all shortly with yet another real life incident on self-medication… till then take care

Brain damaging habits…
Its a coincidence that i am giving two consecutive posts on health. I am posting the content of a mail that i received from my friend (J.Sriram). Thank you so much JS for your useful mails.
BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS
1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing
malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air
decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain
efficiency.
6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the
death of brain cells.
7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and
decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of
the brain as well as damage the brain.
9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may
cause brain shrinkage.
10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.
