I cannot forget the way he handled the character of Ambi in Anniyan. Ambi’s character knows only right and wrong. He cannot identify or tolerate the grey areas.

Like the computer understands only True or False.

Especially the scene where Ambi attempts suicide but turns away saying that commiting suicide is against the law.

It reminds of the law of the robotics where it states that it is unlawful for a robot to kill itself (as mentioned by Mr. Sujatha in one of his novels).

Only he could have penned the dialogues for the Ambi.

When will we come across another like him, who will explain with ease the high technology and poetry and literature and fiction to one and all.

I deeply regret his demise.
